R&D - Therapeutic Music - Collaborations
Exploring new ways to influence human state through sound, vibration, light and biofeedback.
Change My Frequency began with immersive sound, but the longer-term vision extends far beyond a single session format. The CMF Lab is where I develop and test new ideas - combining music, psychoacoustics, vibroacoustics, light and emerging technology to explore how immersive experiences can respond to the individual and vice versa.
Current development includes tactile sound systems, programmable light, biometric sensing and the early design of an adaptive multisensory chair - with the eventual goal of creating experiences that can respond in real time to changes in physiology.
Therapeutic Music
Bespoke music created around the therapeutic experience.
Music used in therapeutic and wellbeing settings is often selected after the treatment or experience has already been designed. CMF takes the opposite approach: music can be composed specifically around the structure, intention and timing of the experience itself.
This might mean creating a piece that evolves alongside a massage treatment, supports different stages of breathwork or meditation, incorporates spatial audio or low-frequency vibration, or provides a carefully designed sonic environment for a practitioner’s own methodology.
One example is my work with Oak Tree Massage, where I created bespoke compositions designed around the sequence and timing of the treatment, allowing the music and practitioner to move through the experience together.
I’m interested in commissions and collaborations with therapists, bodyworkers, retreat facilitators, wellbeing practitioners and others exploring how intentionally designed sound can become an integral part of their work — rather than simply something playing in the background.

Collaborations
Interesting things happen when different worlds collide.
Change My Frequency is driven by curiosity — particularly around the ways sound, vibration, light and immersive experiences can interact with different practices and environments.
I’m interested in collaborating with people whose work might intersect with CMF in unexpected ways. That could include therapists and wellbeing practitioners, musicians and artists, researchers, technologists, movement and breathwork practitioners, or people working in spaces I haven’t considered yet.
A collaboration might take the form of a one-off immersive event, an experimental session, the development of a new therapeutic experience, a research project, or simply putting two very different ideas in the same room and seeing what happens.
Not every experiment needs to begin with a finished concept. Sometimes an interesting question is enough.
If something about CMF connects with what you’re working on, I’d love to hear the idea.

Some ideas will become part of CMF sessions. Others may become entirely new experiences. This is where they begin.
